Restoring an instrument to its original condition, upgrading to historical specifications, or completely transforming it into a guitar like no other – changes have always accompanied electric guitars, especially brands like Fender or Gibson. Sometimes they are dictated by accidents and repairs, but in most cases it is about passion, creativity and fulfilling the owner’s dream. IN NITRO gives you the opportunity to refinish, makeover and restore your guitar.
Before you write to us, we suggest you start by read the content of the tabs on our website. You will find answers to most of your questions there.
Once you’ve done that, contact us: by email, via messenger or through the Contact tab. Provide the year and model of the guitar, and write what your idea is. In response, we will ask you to send a few pictures of your instrument, we will discuss all the details and, if possible, we will present a preliminary cost estimate.
The next step will be to deliver your instrument to us. The most common method is shipping, but it can also be done in person. We need to verify its actual condition to realistically assess the scope of work. At the moment, we are not doing this “on the spot”. We need a few days for this. After checking the instrument, we will give you a final cost estimate, estimated time of work and a start date.
If you don’t accept the estimate or we don’t undertake the work (and in some cases this may happen), you can collect the instrument from us in person or order a courier for it. We don’t return guitars at our expense.
If you accept the estimate, the guitar will be entered into our schedule and will wait for its turn, and we will inform you when we start work. As the work progresses, you will receive a current pictures report from us along with a report on the work performed.
For entering the schedule (in other words, for reserving a start date) we charge a deposit of 100 euros. After the service is performed, the deposit is included in its cost. In the event that after paying the deposit you cancel the service, the deposit is non-refundable. Book wisely.
We will discuss the scope of work, colours and finishing style with you before we start work. After we start work, you will no longer be able to interfere with our work at any stage. The only exception is when we initiate a consultation with you and ask for your opinion or give you a choice. This means that during painting you will not be able to change the shade of the burst if it does not meet your expectations. In the FAQ tab, we have described in detail what may cause colour differences.
You settle with us after all work is completed but before the instrument is delivered to you.
